Book Notes

I read a lot of books (maybe one a week?) and I thought it might be good for me to take a few notes on the books I’ve been reading, and perhaps those might be useful in a public forum.

I’m in the process of going and re-reading books, as well as reading new ones. This is also allowing me to purge some books that aren’t worth a re-read but are taking up valuable bookshelf space

I’m going to try to organize them in the same format each time:

  • tl;dr – Short overview of the book
  • Notes & Quotes: Things I thought were useful to remember
  • Rating:
    • Don’t Read: Don’t even bother
    • Read Once: Worth a read, but not worth paying for or reading again
    • Buy: Worth reading, re-reading, and buying. These are the books I’m trying to narrow my bookshelf at home down to
